Storyboard Supervisor

For 3D Girls’ Preschool Property

WFH process: editor assembles in Adobe Premiere, export QuickTime files to do notes, use dropbox/ftp for file transfers. Experience with Toonboom Storyboard Pro 6 a must.

Overall responsibilities:

• Collaborate with series director on the style of the series -Oversee and manage the workflow for the board team (5 board artists and three revisionists)

• Work with editor/director to cut down episodes to time and help decide what shots/angles/staging to revise to make sequence work for the episode

• Draw or communicate the revisions in a clear way to guide the revisionists

• Ensure the storytelling is hitting the right notes, intensity where needed, comedic beats hit and the story pays off in the end

• Annotate scripts thoroughly and direct the storyboarding team throughout the boarding of an episode; communicate ideas effectively and recommend solutions to help

• Work closely with the Series Director for Board Launches

• Consult with series director as to the feasibility of action in Storyboards and suggest creative solutions that will maintain the vision of the series

• Approve the final storyboard panels and be aware of the show continuity

• Work with the revisionists to lock the Leica and conform the board, ensuring that dialogue and action notes are correct.

• Anticipate, communicate, and troubleshoot any creative or technical issues

• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to team
